The STG556C-BLK features a series of porting channels that run both parallel and vertical with and to the bore. The parallel channels also feature a series of gas expansion chambers along their length.\u003c\/li\u003e\t\u003cli\u003eGas entering the NLC (Non Linear Conpensator) impinges against the vertical ports and expansion chambers causing a braking action within the device. This is without any concussive energy being generated externally (as in a brake). This braking action reduced felt recoil and directs energy forwards down range.\u003c\/li\u003e\t\u003cli\u003eThe vertical and parallel channels are also threaded creating an uneven surface within the device that assist in disrupting gas flow and reducing flash signature.
