The M-FAK Mini is North American Rescue's compact-but-comprehensive trauma kit, designed as the step up from the bare-bones IPOK. It carries all the same evidence-based lifesavers — CAT Tourniquet, Combat Gauze, HyFin Chest Seals — and adds a 4" Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD), a nasopharyngeal airway, and a second pair of gloves for managing multiple casualties.
This is the kit experienced patrol officers, range safety officers, and serious EDC carriers gravitate toward. It rides on a duty belt, MOLLEs to a plate carrier, slips into a range bag or a vehicle headrest pouch. NAR-manufactured, mil/LE quality control, every component sourced from the same line that supplies US military combat medics.

Many serious carriers run both — IPOK on the duty belt or EDC, M-FAK Mini in the patrol car or range bag. If you can only have one, the M-FAK Mini gives you the same lifesavers plus an ETD trauma dressing, NPA airway, and second glove pair. For absolute minimum carry, IPOK.
The NPA is a soft tube inserted through the nostril to maintain an open airway in an unconscious-but-breathing patient. It's basic, life-saving, but requires training to use correctly. Take a TCCC or first-responder course before relying on it.
All disposable medical components (gauze, ETD, chest seals, gloves, NPA) are single-use and should be replaced after deployment. The CAT Tourniquet, trauma shears, marker, and pouch can be reused if undamaged. Replace the entire kit's consumables every 4 years per NAR's recommendations.
Yes — the M-FAK Mini pouch is sized to fit on standard MOLLE webbing on any plate carrier, war belt, range bag, or backpack. The Velcro-and-MOLLE design lets you mount it for left or right hand access.
Yes — every M-FAK Mini ships with NAR-manufactured CAT Gen 7, NAR Combat Gauze, and NAR HyFin Chest Seals. Counterfeit tourniquets and chest seals from third-party sellers have failed under load in field tests — we source only from NAR direct.
