About the M-LOK QD Sling Mount
The Magpul M-LOK QD Sling Mount is a low-profile, 360° free-rotating quick-detach attachment point that bolts directly into any M-LOK slot on your handguard. Machined from heat-treated steel with a phosphate mil-spec finish — not polymer — it's built to outlast the rifle it's mounted on.
The mount accepts every standard 1/8" mil-spec QD push-button swivel, which means it works with virtually every two-point or single-point sling on the market (Magpul, Blue Force Gear, Vickers, Ferro, Edgar Sherman, etc.). The integrated steel T-nut indexes into the M-LOK slot, locking flat against the handguard so the sling sits flush and snag-free. To complete the system, pair it with the Magpul QD Sling Swivel below.

⏱ Install time: under 60 seconds — drop the T-nut into the M-LOK slot, seat the mount, tighten the screw with a Torx key. Recommend a drop of Blue Loctite to keep the screw from backing out under repeated sling tension.

Will this fit my handguard?
If the handguard has M-LOK slots, yes. Confirmed compatible with Magpul MOE / SL, BCM MCMR, Geissele MK4/MK8/MK14/MK16, Daniel Defense MFR, Aero Precision Atlas, Midwest Industries G-Series, and most modern free-float rails. Does NOT fit KeyMod or 1913 Picatinny.
How is this different from a KeyMod mount?
M-LOK and KeyMod are competing attachment standards — NOT interchangeable. This mount is M-LOK only. KeyMod has been largely discontinued in favor of M-LOK after independent industry testing.
How do I install it?
Insert the steel T-nut into the desired M-LOK slot from the inside, drop the mount over it, run the screw through and snug down with a Torx wrench. About 60 seconds. A drop of Blue Loctite is recommended.
Does the QD swivel come with it?
No — the mount is the socket half only. You need a 1/8" mil-spec QD push-button swivel to attach your sling. The Magpul QD Sling Swivel (linked above) is the most popular pairing.
Will it work on AR-10 / .308 platforms?
Yes — the mount is platform-agnostic. As long as the handguard has M-LOK slots (AR-15, AR-10, AR-9, AK with M-LOK handguard, bolt-action with M-LOK forend, etc.) it will mount.
